Cookie Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This policy explains how Flux Trading Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, fluxtrading.co.uk, as required by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and UK GDPR.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your choices and understand how it is used.

How we use cookies

  • Strictly necessary cookies: keep your basket, checkout, login and security working, and remember your cookie choice. These are always on because the site cannot work without them, and they do not need consent.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We only set these if you accept.
  • Marketing cookies: used to measure and personalise advertising, if we use any. We only set these if you accept.

Examples of cookies set by our store platform

  • cart, cart_sig, cart_ts: remember what is in your basket (necessary).
  • secure_customer_sig, localization: keep your account login and store region working (necessary).
  • _shopify_y, _shopify_s and _shopify_sa_p: analytics on how the store is used (set according to your consent choice).
  • Your cookie choice: a small record on your device of whether you accepted or declined.

The exact list can change as Shopify and our other providers update their services.

Managing your choices

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the cookie banner, and change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings button at the bottom of the page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, such as the basket and checkout, may not work without the necessary cookies.
