Terms of service

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. About us

This website, fluxtrading.co.uk, is operated by Flux Trading Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17176395), registered office: 6 Delapre Court, London Road, Northampton, NN4 8AT, United Kingdom.

Phone / WhatsApp: +44 7450 315250. Email: admin@fluxtrading.co.uk.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Flux Trading Ltd, and "you" means the person using the website or placing an order. Our online store is powered by Shopify.

2. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and live in the United Kingdom to place an order. We currently deliver to UK addresses only. By ordering you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and complete, and that you are buying for your own personal use as a consumer, not for resale.

3. Our products

We sell pet-care products and supplies. We take care to describe and photograph products accurately. However:

  • product packaging, recipes, sizes and formulations can be changed by the manufacturer, and the label on the pack you receive is the final authority;
  • some lifestyle and illustrative images are computer-generated or for illustration, and the pack you receive may look slightly different;
  • screen colours may vary slightly from the actual product.

We are an independent retailer. Brand names and logos belong to their owners, and we are not affiliated with them unless we say so.

4. Product information and your pet's health

Information on this website is general and is not veterinary advice. Speak to your vet before changing your pet's diet or giving supplements or treatments, particularly if your pet is young, elderly, pregnant or has a medical condition. Always read the label and follow the instructions. Veterinary medicines, such as flea and tick treatments, must only be used as directed and on the species stated on the label. See our Disclaimer page for more detail.

5. How an order works

  1. You select your products and place an order by completing checkout and paying. This is an offer to buy from us.
  2. We will email you to acknowledge that we have received your order. This is not acceptance of your order.
  3. Our acceptance takes place, and a binding contract is formed, when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. If your order contains several items, we may accept and dispatch them separately, and a contract will form for each item dispatched.

We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock or discontinued, we cannot meet your delivery address, we suspect fraud, or a price or product-information error has occurred. If we do, we will tell you and refund any payment taken.

6. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. There are no hidden charges.
  • Payment is taken in full when you place your order, using the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers, and we do not see or store your full card details.
  • Discount codes and offers are subject to their stated conditions, may be limited or withdrawn at any time, and cannot be used after an order has been placed.
  • Prices and availability can change, but any change will not affect an order we have already accepted.
  • If we discover that a price is obviously wrong (for example, a clear pricing mistake), we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We will tell you before dispatch, and you will not be charged.

7. Delivery

We deliver within the United Kingdom. Delivery options, costs, dispatch times and estimated delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Delivery dates are estimates and not guarantees. Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of the order date. If we do not, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

Goods become your responsibility once they are delivered and you, or someone you have nominated, takes physical possession of them. Ownership of the goods passes to you when we receive full payment.

8. Your right to cancel and our returns policy

You have a legal right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving them, and we also offer a 30-day returns promise on eligible items. The details, exceptions, and how to return items and receive refunds are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

We are legally required to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If something is wrong with an item you have received, contact us as soon as possible. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 include the right to reject faulty goods for a refund within 30 days, and to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund afterwards where the fault was present when the goods were delivered. These rights are explained in our Refund Policy.

10. Your account

You can order as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, you must keep your login details secure and tell us immediately if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or close an account if you break these terms or we suspect misuse or fraud.

11. Reviews and feedback

If you post a review or other content, it must be honest, lawful and based on your own experience. You give us a non-exclusive, free right to display it on our website and in our marketing. We may remove content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading or breaks these terms.

Where a star rating is shown on a product without customer reviews, it reflects ratings given by online shoppers of that product, not by Flux Trading customers.

12. Acceptable use

You must use this website lawfully. You must not:

  • use it for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, our systems or other users' accounts;
  • introduce viruses or other malicious code;
  • copy, scrape, harvest or extract data from the website using automated tools without our written permission;
  • place orders for resale or commercial purposes without our agreement.

13. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, design, graphics and our logo, belongs to Flux Trading Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or reuse our content without our written permission. Brand names, logos and trademarks of products we sell belong to their respective owners.

14. Our liability to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your legal rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that, we are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Losses are foreseeable if they were an obvious consequence of our actions or if you and we both knew they might happen when the contract was made. We are not liable for business losses, because we sell to consumers for personal use only, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, strikes, supplier or carrier failures, or disruption to utilities or networks. If this happens we will contact you, and you may cancel an affected order and receive a refund for it.

15. Third-party websites and services

Our website may link to third-party websites or use third-party tools such as payment providers and our store platform. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content or practices. Please read their terms and privacy notices.

16. Privacy and cookies

We handle your personal data as explained in our Privacy Policy, and we use cookies as explained in our Cookie Policy. Please read both.

17. Complaints and disputes

If you have a problem, please contact us on admin@fluxtrading.co.uk or +44 7450 315250 and see our Complaints Procedure. We will do our best to resolve it quickly. If we cannot, you can get free advice from Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133 (citizensadvice.org.uk), and you may use an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. ADR is voluntary, and we will tell you if we agree to use a particular provider. You may also take your complaint to court.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or our services. The terms in force when you place an order apply to that order. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.

19. General

  • Entire agreement: these terms, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about your order.
  • Transfer: you may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to another organisation, and we will tell you if this happens. It will not affect your rights.
  • Third parties: no one else has any right to enforce these terms.
  • If part is unenforceable: if any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
  • Waiver: if we do not enforce a right straight away, this does not mean we have given it up.
  • Language: these terms are in English, and the English version applies.
  • Governing law: these terms and any dispute about them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts there, and the law of your home country will also apply where it gives you greater consumer protection.
